Seniors undergoing cataract surgery with implant upgrades can file the medical portion on their insurance if it applies. Financing is available for the lens upgrade. Patients having clear lensectomy with premium lens implants may choose to take advantage of the financing option. Financing will have to be determined on a case by case basis, depending on the surgical facility and/or any medical insurance.

We will file primary and secondary medical insurances for you. We do not accept vision plans.
HMO Patients: You will need to arrange for your referral from your family doctor
MEDICAID Patients: You must bring a copy of your card for the month to be seen

- Plan for 1 1/2-2 hour initial visit.
- If there is additional testing done, it may add a few minutes.
- If you are diabetic, please bring a snack if you think you may need one.
- If you are on oxygen, please alert the front desk on your arrival.
- Initial and annual visits are dilated examinations. You will need a driver.
Please note: Refraction, the process of determining the eye's refractive error (which is better, one or two), is not covered by insurances.
